MY NAME IS MARY LEU, I AM A BATIK ARTIST.  I ENJOY TRYING TO RECREATE, ON CLOTH, THE BEAUTY I SEE AROUND ME.  THE UNIQUENESS OF BATIK ALSO BRINGS ME EXCITEMENT.  YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR WORK TO A CERTAIN EXTENT, BUT WHEN DIPPING THE CLOTH INTO THAT NEXT DYE BATH, THE WAX CRACKS.  THE DYE SEEPS IN.  EACH PIECE AN ORIGINAL.  NEVER TO BE DUPLICATED.

Thanks for visiting, I hope you find something you like.
